The Hall of Fame weekend will begin on Friday, September 25th at the Merle Travis Music Center in Powderly, KY. Doors will open at 5:15 pm, with a pre-show starting at 5:45 pm, and the induction ceremony and performances at 6:00 pm. The International Thumbpicking Championship will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday Sept. 26th, with registration starting at 9:00 am. The Saturday night concert will be a preshow by the Championship winners at 6:30 pm. The Saturday evening main concert will begin at 7:00 pm. As always, we will be featuring many of your favorite pickers who have carried this style on over the years, and a few of our newer faces as well. Some of the featured pickers are Paul Moseley, Eddie Pennington, Scott Taylor, John Knowles, and more. Saturday Evening will be topped off with a very entertaining concert by Shane Adkins and the Rocket City All-Stars! Sunday we will enjoy Gospel Music in Paradise Park from 10:00am -11:00am. Open mic picking will round out the afternoon. The buildings in Paradise Park will be open during this time for touring.
